Pastor Todd has been in pastoral ministry for over two decades and came to Hillcrest in 2025. He is a two-time alumnus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has attended Southern Seminary in Louisville to do graduate work as well as post-graduate work.
He enjoys music, and reading, and is married to his beautiful wife Melissa. They love spending time with their son Sam and wife Kristin, and their daughter Betsy, her husband Ian, and Esme, their grandchild.

Pastor Sam is from Louisville, KY but is glad to call the Lexington
area his earthly home. He has a BA in Biblical Studies and
Apologetics from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and
an MA in Apologetics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in formal pastoral ministry for nearly a decade across several churches in Louisiana and Kentucky.
Sam joined Hillcrest in summer 2026 and loves the passion
and dedication of Hillcrest’s members. He has never served in
a church where so many people care so much about the work of
the kingdom and so little about egos or preferences. Sam focuses
on outreach, social media, and ministry to families as well as general pastoral leadership. Sam is married to his wonderful wife Kristin.
They also have a bright and beautiful niece, Esme.
One of his favorite passages in Scripture is 1 John 1:9-10,
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (ESV)

Roger loves The Lord and enjoys using his considerable musical talents in the worship of God. He is an accomplished soloist. He is also bivocational and a retired music teacher at Brookside Elementary School, Nicholasville, KY. If you enjoy singing, let Roger know and he will welcome you to the Hillcrest Choir.

Reta and Glenna are dedicated to using their musical talents to accompany our worship and help us honor the Lord with one, unified voice. They have served in music ministry for many years and love the Lord, His Church, and His worship.
